The Les Paul Standard 50s Faded with ’57 Classic Underwound is outfitted with an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, an aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons, and a Graph Tech® nut. All of these components work together to ensure rock-solid tuning stability and contribute to the outstanding sustain and tone that the Les Paul model is renowned for.
The ’57 Classic Underwound humbuckers™ have a classic hum-free voice with a touch less output, greater chime and top-end clarity, and more clearly defined overtones and harmonics. They’re also wax-potted to remove any chance of microphonic feedback. The pickups are hand-wired to audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop® capacitors, producing a wide range of tonal options. The volume and tone controls are fitted with gold Top Hat knobs with dial pointers, so you’ll always know exactly how you have everything dialed up with just a glance.

It pays tribute to Gibson’s Golden Era of innovation and brings authenticity back to life. The Les Paul Standard 50s Faded with ’57 Classic Underwound features a beautiful satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish that gives it an unmistakable vintage vibe and the look and feel of a long-treasured musical companion. It has a solid, non-weight-relieved mahogany body with an AA figured maple top, providing classic flame-top Les Paul visual appeal. The mahogany neck features a rounded 50s Vintage-style profile for a satisfyingly hand-filling playing experience. The neck is topped with a rosewood fretboard that is equipped with 22 medium jumbo frets and adorned with acrylic trapezoid inlays. The fretboard has a 12” radius, so it’s comfortable for first-position chords, and lead lines played higher up the neck won’t fret out.
