The AS-01 Single Coil features both alnico and steel (hence the name), which adds mass to the pickups helping to create a powerful sound. Paired with a push-pull tone control and 5-way blade pickup switch, this pickup/electronics package gives players an array of sounds to enjoy. The PRS’s patented tremolo adds a touch more versatility.
