2026 Silver Sky Defender limited edition

PRS, John Mayer and Land Rover have joined forces to unleash a limited run of Silver Sky guitars boasting four heritage Defender colourways. Limited to just 500 of each colour, these collectible instruments feature matching painted headstocks and a unique neck plate engraved with the colour name and a "1 of 500" marking. A PRS ATA moulded case with a custom Defender badge is also included.

From the inverted PRS headstock that keeps string tension consistent (and tuning rock solid) to the vintage-style tuners upgraded with PRS's locking system, this guitar is all about combining old-school mojo with modern reliability. The steel tremolo features PRS's Gen III knife-edge screws and sits flush to the body, so it only drops pitch — giving you extra resonance while keeping things stable.

This PRS John Mayer signature guitar comes loaded with three 635JM single-coil pickups voiced to John's exact specifications. They sound warm, round and full of character, with a sweet top end that never gets harsh. Add in a traditional 7.25" fingerboard radius and bone nut for rich sustain, and you've got a guitar that feels like home from the very first strum.
