The Lester ’59 is part of Maybach’s “vintage-inspired” single-cut family, modelled on the body and neck profiles of classic late-1950s solid-body guitars (i.e., circa 1957-59). The “Midnight Sunset” colour with “Aged” finish gives it a relic/vintage look: subtle wear, checking, perhaps slightly faded burst edges, adding character and visual tone. It is hand-crafted in Europe (Czech Republic / Germany links) by a small team rather than mass-assembly; the aim being a high-quality instrument with vintage vibe and modern reliability.
