The Capitol is Maybach's interpretation of the famous semi-hollow model introduced in the late 1950s. Chuck Berry and B.B. King are inseparable from this iconic model. The Maybach Capitol features a thin body with center block, carved top and classic F holes that guarantee a warm, resonant woody sound. The two Amber Spirit of '59 humbuckers produce a clear and full sound which makes this Maybach Capitol extremely suitable for Jazz and Blues, but other music styles are not shunned either.
