At the heart of the RG565R-CA is the ultra-slim Super Wizard 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck, paired with a smooth Rosewood fretboard and jumbo frets for effortless playability. A Basswood body keeps things light and resonant, while the Infinity R and V8 humbuckers deliver punchy, responsive tones that stay clear even under extreme gain. Finished off with Gotoh machine heads and the legendary Edge tremolo bridge, this is a no-compromise performance tool for players who demand speed, stability and classic RG attitude.

Genesis Collection Heritage

The Genesis Collection pays tribute to the original Ibanez RG models that redefined what a modern rock guitar could be. The RG565R-CA captures that spirit with period-correct styling and construction, while benefitting from contemporary Japanese build quality. You get the fast, aggressive look and feel that made the RG a legend, with the consistency and precision that today’s players expect.

Super Wizard Neck for Maximum Speed

The Super Wizard 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck is engineered for uncompromising speed and comfort. Its ultra-thin profile and satin polyurethane finish make position shifts feel almost frictionless, while the bolt-on construction provides snap and attack. Whether you are alternate picking at high tempo or stretching wide legato phrases, the neck stays out of your way and lets your technique shine.

Powerful, Clear Humbucking Tones

Loaded with an Infinity R humbucker in the neck and a V8 humbucker in the bridge, the RG565R-CA is voiced for tight, controlled aggression. These pickups offer excellent dynamic response and retain clarity even with heavy distortion, so complex chords and fast runs remain defined. Combined with the 5-way lever switch, you can move from thick rhythm tones to cutting leads and more nuanced, mixed-coil sounds with ease.

Edge Tremolo and Gotoh Hardware Stability

The renowned Edge tremolo bridge gives you smooth, expressive vibrato and divebombs with exceptional tuning stability. Paired with a locking nut and precise Gotoh machine heads, the RG565R-CA is built to handle extreme whammy bar use while keeping your tuning locked in. Fine intonation and setup adjustments are straightforward, making it a dependable workhorse on stage and in the studio.
