Specifications

Designed to produce a premium tone, the MIJ Traditional 70s Telecaster is enhanced trough exceptional hardware and electronics. A Vintage-Style Single-Coil pickup is deployed at the bridge, emitting that vintage telecaster twang. Partnered with this is a Fender Wide Range humbucker, which creates rich, blissful chords. A three-position toggle lets you switch clearly between the bridge and neck pickups so you can really refine your tone to perfection. Overall, the Fender MIJ traditional 70s telecaster is a superb instrument perfect for any genre, and any guitarist.

Brilliant vintage tone

Dynamically sensitive. The Vintage-Style single coil and Fender wide range humbucker is a powerful tonal combination. This double act allows for a multitude of tones, ranging from crisp, clear cleans to earth-shattering distortion, resulting in a guitar that can easily adapt to any genre of music. From hard rock to blues, and all stops in between, you can be assured this guitar is prepared for your tonal journey.

Professional property

The Fender MIJ Traditional 70s Telecaster is designed for the utmost comfort when performing, producing a guitar that plays like a dream. A “U” shape maple neck provides a comfortable, firm grasp, whilst also ensuring that your hand is free to flurry efficiently to the extremes of the guitar's range. The maple fretboard ensures that you have a smooth playing surface to glide across, simultaneously providing a percussive bite with fantastic overtones and plenty of sustain. Finally, the ash body is extremely lightweight - therefore not strenuous to play - maximising performance time.

Tremendous tuning

A three-saddle Vintage-Style Tele bridge with slotted steel saddles offers impeccable tuning stability, keeping the strings' tension tight. A set of Fender Vintage “F” stamped tuning machines adds to the overall vintage styling, while primarily keeping your strings tight and locked in, ensuring the utmost stability whilst performing. So with this MIJ telecaster you can be assured that you will spend more time performing and as little time as possible worrying about tuning.
