Shaped by real world feedback from gigging guitarists, the Scout Legacy refines Chapmans core philosophy rather than changing it. A carbon reinforced neck with a precision spoke wheel truss rod, glow in the dark side dots and a carefully carved body all come together to create an instrument that reacts instantly under the fingers and encourages you to dig deeper into every riff, chord and lead line.
Under the hood, a pair of Chapman humbuckers designed by Rob Chapman and Trev Wilkinson provide a versatile voice, from tight, high output bridge tones to warm, expressive neck sounds. The 5 way switching unlocks multiple flavours from these pickups, while quality components like Orange Drop capacitors, full size 500k pots and a treble bleed circuit keep your sound clear and consistent at any volume.
Finished in the striking Sky Burst and complete with practical touches such as a magnetic cavity control plate, dual action truss rod and straplocks, the Scout Legacy is built to be a reliable partner night after night. Every guitar is inspected and approved by Chapman luthiers, so it is ready to hit the stage straight out of the box.
The Scout Legacy keeps the classic S-style outline but updates it with an ergonomically carved body for improved playability and comfort. The weight relieved alder body helps reduce fatigue over long sets, while the flame maple top adds visual flair and extra snap to your tone.
A carbon rod reinforced neck, dual action truss rod and precision spoke wheel adjustment give you rock solid stability and easy set up tweaks. Stainless steel frets offer a slick, durable playing surface that resists wear, and Chapman locking tuners work with the Graph Tech Tusq nut to deliver quick string changes and reliable tuning.
Chapman pickups, created by Rob Chapman and Trev Wilkinson, combine robust construction with a carefully voiced tonal palette. The ceramic bridge humbucker and Alnico V neck humbucker, controlled via a 5 way switch, cover everything from tight rhythm crunch to smooth, singing leads, with clarity and punch that cut through any mix.
Glow in the dark side dots keep you oriented on dark stages, while straplocks add peace of mind when you are moving around. Inside, Orange Drop capacitors, full size A 500k pots and a treble bleed on the volume knob maintain your high end and dynamic response as you roll back, so your sound stays usable at any level.
The Chapman Scout Legacy in Sky Burst takes a familiar S-style silhouette and reimagines it for the demands of modern players. Packed with stainless steel frets, locking hardware, premium electronics and a weight relieved alder body topped with flame maple, it is a stage ready workhorse that feels fast, plays effortlessly and delivers punchy, articulate tones across the board.
