What does a Chorus pedal do?

A chorus pedal repeats what you play at very close intervals, to create the illusion of multiple guitars playing at once. When you increase the depth, it increases the intensity of the effect, making it sound as if there are more of the same instrument. When you adjust the rate (or delay time) it reduces and stretches the time between repeats.
